The Pathology and Cancer Research Center, with the collaboration of specialists from various groups including pathology, adult and pediatric oncology, radiotherapy, basic sciences, epidemiology, hematology, and palliative medicine, was approved in principle by the Deputy for Research and Technology of the Ministry of Health, Treatment, and Medical Education in September 2008 and was    established at the site of the Faculty of Medicine. It was finally approved in April 2014, and its field of activity is biomedical
